You do so much for others- it’s time to give back to yourself…

Compassionate & Supportive Therapists in CT

You didn’t expect life to feel this hard…

In our practice we value family and understand how difficult it can be to raise young families in today’s world. As therapists with our own families, we can relate on a personal level and bring our own level of expertise to support you. We are not therapists that will tell you how to raise your children nor suggest something that does not align with your values- we are here to help you navigate the challenges that interfere with your happiness.

Parenthood is hard…it’s okay to admit that. This does not define you as a parent nor does it mean you love your child any less. You are here because you love them - asking for help is an act of love.

How We Work

Every therapist on our team has received training in various therapy modalities and are well versed in issues involving family dynamics, child development, and maternal mental health. What does this mean for you as a parent or busy mom? We can provide you with a new way of seeing things and teach you the coping strategies needed to help you work through your stressors.

It also means that we ‘get it’. We hear you when you say, “ I am overwhelmed with everything I do”- We hear you when you say, “This is too hard.” We give you the space to openly share, free of judgement, how you really feel.

You are not your struggles…

You are not defined by your struggles. We all experience challenges at some point in our lives and they do not define the person that we are.

A message from our Founder, Gily Roselle, LMFT

Hi! Im Gily Roselle, and I am so happy found us. Im a CT-based Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Founder of WPC. I built a team of therapists when I saw the gap in services for moms, parents and postpartum women. I created my practice with the intent to reach and help more moms like yourself!

I’ve worked with various age groups—including children, teens, and young adults—and within various and complex issues surrounding depression, anxiety, and trauma. I’ve focused my time and dedication to work more closely with mothers through their perinatal and postpartum journey. In my past work with children, I felt parents were left out of the equation; parents that were struggling in silence and afraid to say how they truly felt. When I became a mother myself, it all made sense.

At Wellness Point Counseling, my team and I work with the various parts that encompass a family system.
